October is for showcasing the amazing authors in our area. On October 21st, Bookish will welcome authors Ashley Zakrzewski and David Lee Holcomb into the shop for a book signing.

Author David Lee Holcomb was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and grew up in the Appalachian foothills, but most of his adult career was spent in the television news industry in Birmingham, Miami, and Dallas. In 2009 he moved to a cabin in rural Arkansas, where he writes, paints, grows orchids, and plays the saxophone. His newest book is Lake Road, Last House.
